Commisioners Court recently lifted the burn ban in Gillispie County based on about of 1/2 inch of recent rain. My guage is empty with no rain. If you were out today, Thursday January 31 you would have heard or seen fire trucks apparently heading to put out a number of fires in different parts of the hill country. Fire ban should be reinstated immediately. Don’t burn..use your common sense…to dry and to windy.
