About Krista
She was born and raised on her family’s ranch in Harper, Texas. She attended Texas Tech University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Upon graduating, she worked for Pickens Drilling Company in the water well business, where she was exposed to some of the most beautiful properties in the Texas Hill Country and developed a true passion for real estate. Her foray into real estate began in 2012, as a Realtor® and property manager for Key Hill Country Real Estate and Reservations. In 2017, Krista joined Fredericksburg Realty, where she works in ranch, residential, and commercial real estate.
Krista’s strong Texas roots enable her to share the raw beauty of the Hill Country with new and existing clientele. Being co-owner with her husband of Bennett Land Services, together with her experience in the water well business, has given her an inherent understanding of the land and the complexities of buying and selling rural properties, from road construction and property improvements to installing and maintaining water wells.
Krista spends her free time on her family’s ranch where they raise cattle, goats, and horses. She continues to be very active in her community and volunteers for many organizations, including currently serving as Secretary of the Harper Community Park Board and as an Elder with her church. Krista is the past Secretary of the Central Hill Country Board of Realtors® and served as Chair of the Education and Public Involvement Committees.
